真实历史：

    瑞典在战争初期处于优势，连续击败神罗的数支大军；神罗（神圣罗马帝国－奥匈帝国）启用华伦斯坦为主帅（当时神罗陆军已经事实上不存在，华伦斯坦收编三万雇佣军作为全军主力），1632年，新教联军（瑞典军）在吕钦战役击败华伦斯坦，但古斯塔夫二世战死；失去古斯塔夫的瑞典军随后在1634年被奥西联军击败，不久，瑞典盟友萨克森和勃兰登堡（勃兰登堡选帝侯后来成为普鲁士国王）与神罗签订《布拉格合约》，退出战争，形势对瑞典（新教徒）不利；为了遏制哈布斯堡家族（奥地利和西班牙王室）的扩张，1635年，法国加入瑞典阵营，荷兰随后参战，瑞法荷三国联军打败奥西联军；1643－1645年，丹麦不满瑞典的胜利，挑起战争，瑞典被迫回军，战况再次胶着；长期战争让各国财政不堪重负，双方签订和约，三十年战争结束。

    其中，华伦斯坦在吕钦战役后获得空前威望，他企图改革神罗的军事制度，触动贵族利益，很快被免职，并且被刺杀。

    差不多同时，不列颠岛（英国）内战（1639－1652）开始。

    顺便说一句：十八世纪的（普鲁士－德意志）腓特烈大帝也有一次吕钦战役，没有找到中英对照名，不知道是不是发生在同一个地方。
